| Name of the ulu gelato shop * along Sembawang Rd* |
Think I dragged Ah Li to Sembawang Road, saying that there is a dessert shop around there, I think.Ha, so basically, we went to find this mysterious shop without knowing the exact address or the name, follow purely on gut instincts! Ha. End up finding this gelato shop, not bad but try it when you are in the vicinity.
Last Saturday, went to Prive with Ah li. Quite disappointed with the main courses and the eating experience was not enjoyable =( Initially, we sat in the indoor cafe but it was too cold so we changed our seats to outdoor which proved to be a bad choice later on. So, we proceeded to order - one seafood pasta, pancakes and their mushroom soup. When the pasta was served, a small fly attacked the pasta immediately and died in the sauce-.- But that was not the end of fly, while we ate, there was constantly flies around us. I wonder is it my perfume which was honey scented that attracted them? Hmm.. But still the flies! Macham like eating in a kopitam, swatting the air as we ate. The food were average, truly disappointed cause we promised ourselves to pamper ourselves with a nice lunch. But the dessert was the redeeming factor cause it was sinful dark chocolate tart!! =D Went to camwhore along the keppel bridge, but the photos we took were disappointing, simply no feel. And I realized that taking photos of myself posing and all that was not my forte at all >.<
Think this picture was way back in March or April? Brought my parents to Red Star Restaurant that sells dim sum which was my father's favorite not mine cause I don't like pork that much. They have waitresses going around with push carts carrying dim sum. I got so excited that I ordered food like I did when I was in buffet - unstoppable. Ended up, feeling so sickly full, one step more towards puking -.- The next day, was a non meat day for me.
Finally went to the arts' festival held at the esplanade park which didn't meet my expectations =( There were some stuff toys park outside esplanade for the kids, a outdoor chinese opera for everyone to join in and a water dance I think - there were huge water jars placed and people coming in and out of them, doesn't make much sense to me -.- Guess I will not go for this next year. But there was one performance that made up for the rest which was the string performance *above pic* where they played a mixture of Disney and BeeGees songs 0o
Old cassette tapes placed along the Esplanade underground corridor.
Oh ya, I also went for Laselle music graduation ceremony with my colleagues! It was awesome =D Can't imagine that you can do so much with just a piece of instruments or that you can mix different type of ethnic groups' instruments 0o
