F1 2010

Omg this is the best part time job I had so far!

Ok. I wasn't any thrilled about F1 despite of working for 2 years.Cause it's about cars which I hardly know anything about it and the races are super duper noisy=S Imagine working 3 full days with that kind of noise =( But, this year the artistes that the organizers invited were enough to make me look forward for the job *aside from the pay.

I GOT to watch Adam Lambert performed live for 5 songs during my job! Got him during my dinner break! Totally awesome and not forgetting that I was paid to watch him =p haha. But, it was a pity that I didn't get to get a nice close-up shot of him due to my very limited pixel handphone camera =( And to think that my first concert is actually free! haha. I'm such a cheapo.

Anyway, aside from the concert, the races are quite entertaining in the sense that they can leave me in an awe-stricken state cause of their superb speed. Plus the highlight of this year will be the parade of the sports car for a charity cause and  also a parade of vintage cars * which look like Mr Bean's one, but didn't get to look at them*Another will be the collision of Lewis Hamilton at the final race. Pity that, I could not catch the actual thing =(Lastly will be the weather! Cannot believe that the weather for the past 3 days were so suitable for windsurfing and I only get to watch it *from my booth, facing the Kallang River.* Urgh!! Oh well, sometimes earning for bread expenses is more important than playing sports. Besides that, I get to work with someone from my last year team so the environment itself is not so totally alien. But, the bartenders ar, are super ... hmm.. what can I say.. boys will be boys * roll eyes*. Plus, I was the oldest and the only girl at the booth which was rather sad and lonely especially when they talk about gym stuff  D= One of them even ask what kind of guys I like, knowing that I'm single. And I told them that I'm into gays like Adam Lambert =p haha.

But, overall I really enjoyed myself to the maximum at the race =( Ok, now I like suffering post F1 syndrome characterized with aching legs, drooping eyes and a guarantee that you-imagine-yoruself-at-F1-racecourse-while-taking-MRT hearing syndrome D=
