One day after my paper, I went to attend Joan's 21st birthday party , a bit envious of her to have a party to celebrate her 21st... oh wells.. the food was great and i get to drink barileys ( sweet coffee liquer) and me and my friends bought her tommy hilfeger perfume cause we absolutely have no clue what to buy for her and we only bought it after our last paper... Found a perfume that I liked but it was too expensive so never bought it in the end=( After the party, I went for beerfest which is held at the singapore's flyer cause I wanted to go and look at the fest very much and that my windsurfing friends are also at the fest so there is company... only drank a bottle of spanish beer which is ok to me..
Last monday, me and my sister went to suntec to shop around for bikini for our diving trip over the weekend.We went round the 2 shops for bikini and I nearly break down and cry ( literally) cause all the bikinis do not fit me =( after that we decided to go to bugis street to shop... AND finally i found 2 bikinis that i like very much^^ so tempted to buy both along with a sundress but didn't cause i'm running low on cash =S After that, I rushed back to suntec to catch wolverine movie with yinghui,sk,david,soonsiang and kwun hok.The movie is nice but is not as nice as compared to `taken'. After that, we headed down to eat the rocher road beancurb which is said to be famous and nice but I beg to differ =S
On tuesday, me and my sister went to took the theory test for the diving. We didn't know that we need to study before hand and that we just went down to take the quizzes and the exam only... so all of us including 3 of my friends were like last minute mugging for the test =S but luckily we all passed it ^^ on wednesday, me and my sister went to bugis to exchange her bikini and we shopped around in the new shooping mall which is super huge but quite empty. We went to eat at this cheeky chocolate cafe where we had cake and drink, I felt that the cake is so-so only cause the chocolate is not rich enough =S As time is running short, we cab down to outram park secondary school where they have a pool for us to have our diving pool session.It's very hard to use all those dive equipments and I had a hard time trying to perform the skills required for the open water dive cert =S
Friday finally arrived! My sister and I were on our way to Tioman ^^ We set off at night and it took roughly 4 hours drive to malaysia's jetty at mersing and from there we took a ferry to tioman. By the time we reached the resorts at tioman, it started to storm. On saturday, we had 3 dives, the first 2 dives was for us to perform the skills that we have learnt at the pool session and the last dive was a leisure dive where we were brought to see the shipwreck but i couldn't descend to the bottom as i cannot equalize the pressure in my ear =S and by the time i wanted to descend, the instructor said no need to already cause someone kick the sand at the bottom and affected visibility =( One thing i like about Tioman is that there is duty free shop so the alcohol is cheap there. Had one beer after dinner and me and soonsiang shared this tioman sling whic sucks like shit.All of us slacked at the dining table over an hour plus, talking nonsense.haha.
Yesterday, we had 2 leisure dives and my sister saw a stingray and i didn't manage to see it=( after that, we went to this car wreck site where i got to see a lot of sea urchins, sea cucumber and corals ^^ after that we had our last meal at tioman and the lunch was spaghetti with a bottle of hoegarden, s shot of v.s.o.p and banana split =) After lunch we went to the jetty and waited for an hour plus for the ferry. The car ride back was super long cause there was a jam starting from my grandfather's place - kota tinggi which is roughly an hour plus away from the custom checkpoint. Incurred a freaking headache during the ride which i had to counter with panadol.At singapore custom checkpoint, the health check is so stringent with the swine flu outbreak that there is thermo sensor to check everyone's temperature -_-
ok i shall stop blogging here ~~ I'm officially a certified open water diver ^^
